The Gallery at Woodend, Scarborough is delighted to be showing work by some of the Region’s foremost textile artists. Pieces by Zeneta Bakute, Helen Birmingham, Helen Edwards, Jane Jackson, Angela Knipe, Margaret Kenny and Lindsey Tyson will reveal and explore a sumptuous world of colour and texture. The exhibition will include intimate items of jewellery, large wall hangings, three dimensional work and carefully crafted embroidery that will present the viewer with a veritable panoply of beautiful fabrics. The private view for this fantastic exhibition is on Friday 3rd June from 3.30 - 5.30pm. Entry is free and all are welcome. Following the exhibition preview there'll be a Cabaret & Open Mike Night with poetry, stories, jokes, a short play, music, dance, magic and song from 7.00pm - 9.00pm. Tickets are £3 on the door.
