hi. I wrote a note to you both. I am knowlegable about most rag rug techniques (though not weaving) and while I understand hooking and proddy, etc. I can not figure out how you attached the patched of fabric or the patches of straight yarn patches. it doesn't appear to be sewn on. are they glued? if sewn, I see no evidence. you ladies have me confused!! I live in Portland Oregon USA so I doubt I will ever get in for a work shop! I thank you for your time.

Just thought I would get in touch. As a fellow rag rugger, I co-run a rag rug group in Carlisle Cumbria. Carlisle U3A group I have been making rugs and wall hangings for many years. Our group meets on a ,Tuesday morning. It would be lovely for our rug groups to get together sometime maybe. Your work shops look fantastic! Best Wishes ,Janet Holden.
